Throwaways: First roll through my Hasselblad 500C/M

Sharing an entire roll with someone is still something that is a bit uncomfortable for me. I’m going to be starting a YT channel to share more soon, and I do want to show the “missed”, or flubbed shots along with the ones that I’m happy with. I love William Klein’s work, and I posted a short excerpt from one of his documentaries a while ago where he tells the story of each frame on a roll of 135 and why, of all the other shots on the strip, he chose the one he did. It’s eye-opening to have that much access to someone’s decision-making, and planning.

I bought a kit that came with an expired roll of film, and so I’m not sure if the lettering that you see on the frames is from it being expired, me putting the film in wrong, or something else. The experience of shooting on the 500C/M is probably the best film-shooting experience I’ve ever had. Everything is so intuitive, and simple. This roll wasn’t anything special, just my family and I taking a walk to test the camera out.

All shot on an 80mm lens. I’m looking forward to posting more with this. Only got 11 shots on this roll… I’m not hiding anything.
