I went to South Africa in 2018, and my (now) wife and I traveled around for a couple of weeks. I think I only took my M9, and the D16 for this trip, but I bought a really cheap film camera for about $5 and ran a couple of rolls through it (mostly family pictures, so nothing to share here). All of these throwaways are from the M9, which really shined on this trip. Crazy how I’m still completely satisfied with this camera, and it’s over a decade old now. The M9 is still the only camera that I would never part with. It has yet to be replaced. I think that the only camera I could even imagine replacing with doesn’t even exist yet (that FF L-Mount Merrill that they keep delaying). Very much looking forward to that one… Anyways, here are the throwaways:
